San Juan is a practical destination to investigate if you want wing instruction alongside restaurants, beaches and a city stay. Ocean Park has a published wing-school presence; choosing a lesson venue and a suitable forecast matters more than choosing a hotel with an ocean view.
Choose instruction and ask how wing handling and foil riding are taught. A first session need not involve flying on a foil.
Arrange a launch briefing and confirm a suitable rental setup before leaving your own equipment at home.
Combine a riding plan with time in the city. Keep several possible session windows instead of assigning the only available afternoon to foiling.

A community Ocean Park spot report identifies December through July as its best-month selection and describes northeast to easterly trade winds. Its narrative gives a broader season, so treat it as a rough planning lead, not a measured monthly wing-foiling forecast.
We have not verified a launch-level wind probability table, average air/water temperatures or a reliable equipment-size range. Ask a local school about your month and ability before committing to a wind-dependent itinerary. The same wind speed can produce very different sessions depending on swell, direction and launch exposure.

The National Weather Service San Juan beach page provides rip-current risk and links to surf forecasts. Calm-looking weather does not establish safe water conditions. Review the current beach and marine information with the operator, including swell, thunderstorms and an appropriate return plan.
Kite Puerto Rico identifies its lesson center with Ocean Park Beach and N1 Surf Shop. That establishes a local service reference, not an approved launch anywhere along the beach. Get your session’s meeting point and entry instructions directly.

The community spot report describes chop and waves, with swimmers, reefs and other water users among the considerations. Use Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) when comparing flight options for San Juan. Uber publishes pickup guidance for that airport; follow the current instructions in the app rather than assuming a fixed pickup point.
If carrying a board bag, arrange transport that explicitly accepts its packed dimensions. A vehicle category alone is not confirmation that your equipment fits. Compare a prearranged transfer or rental vehicle if you intend to move between riding areas.
Condado offers dining and shopping, while lagoon paddle or kayak activities can provide a different way to spend time outdoors. Make bookings around the actual conditions and your group’s interests.
