Boracay can suit a holiday combining wing instruction with beach time for the rest of your group. The key decision is the school’s operating beach during your dates. Do not assume a Bulabog room gives walk-out access to the same provider throughout the year. Our recommendation is to confirm the seasonal meeting point first, then compare accommodation and the daily journey.

Reef Riders describes Bulabog operations in northeast Amihan, broadly November–April, highlighting December–February. In southwest Habagat, May–October, it says it moves to Sinagpa on White Beach. This is one operator’s published schedule, not blanket permission to launch anywhere on White Beach or a promise of wind every day. Confirm actual operations for your dates before reserving a stay around them.

Getting there
Flight, road and boat.Plan all the connections.
Shangri-La’s directions identify Caticlan, also called Godofredo P. Ramos (MPH), as the closest airport and Kalibo (KLO) as an alternative with a longer land journey. Reaching the island involves a boat connection. Its private lounge and speedboat are resort-specific, not the public transfer service. Confirm the transfer chain and acceptance of large foil bags with your chosen provider, including current fees and arrangements.
Beyond the session
Keep beach time flexible.Make room for everyone.
A mixed-interest group need not spend every session on the same shore. Agree whether companions want to travel with you to lessons or meet afterward, especially when the operating beach changes by season. Reef Riders lists SUP as another activity to ask about.
